Four outstanding British crime novels rooted in the landscapes, closed communities and secrets of England. Rolling hills, village greens, market towns and clifftop paths have always made the perfect backdrop for murder. From the windswept Northumberland moors to the honey-stoned Cotswolds, from a Norfolk seaside town to the rugged Devon coast, these are novels that understand that place is everything.

Excellent choice. I have only read 3 books so far but have enjoyed them immensely and I am looking forward to the next book. I have bought from bookhound before and will again. Thank you.
Ian Rankin is always a good read but it is interesting to have one of his other series which shows a different style and for me the best read in the selection.
