Four thrillers, four killers - and four protagonists who are not quite what they seem. Jeff Lindsay's Dexter Morgan works Miami's crime scenes by day and commits his own murders by night. Mark Dawson's John Milton spent years as a government assassin and can't leave his old job behind. Play Dead opens with a wife convinced her drowned husband is still alive, while Connelly's Blood Work follows a retired FBI profiler who receives a heart transplant, then discovers the donor was murdered. And the killer has been watching him ever since.
Jeff Lindsay, 'Dearly Devoted Dexter' + Michael Connelly, 'Blood Work' + Mark Dawson, 'Saint Death' + Harlan Coben, 'Play Dead'
Excellent choice. I have only read 3 books so far but have enjoyed them immensely and I am looking forward to the next book. I have bought from bookhound before and will again. Thank you.
Ian Rankin is always a good read but it is interesting to have one of his other series which shows a different style and for me the best read in the selection.
