Sunlit villages, second chances and the delightful unpredictability of love shape this uplifting collection. From long-kept secrets resurfacing at a family gathering to fresh starts in coastal cottages and unexpected encounters that alter careful plans, these novels celebrate reinvention in all its messy, hopeful glory. Warm-hearted, they offer romance with a knowing wink and just enough emotional truth to linger.

Ian Rankin is always a good read but it is interesting to have one of his other series which shows a different style and for me the best read in the selection.
