I am a Peter Robinson fan, having seen the television adaptation of DCI Alan Banks. Peter writes in a way that produces an image of not only the characters and crime but he also gives the reader a glimpse of the settings.

I appreciate you have no control of your couriers books delivered today 12 th December dropped books over five barred gate onto drive when the front door to my house with porch is only 10M away two men in the van then sat for 5mins !!!!! Totally unacceptable especially as it was raining Obviously not read the books yet so no review.
