Old cases refuse to stay buried in this quartet of searching, morally intricate crime novels. From Edinburgh’s compromised loyalties to LA hauntings and windswept Norfolk secrets, each investigation forces its detective to confront unfinished business and the personal cost of truth. These are stories where memory is evidence, and justice demands its due.
TITLES: Ian Rankin, 'In a House of Lies' + Ann Cleeves, 'Come Death and High Water' + Peter Robinson, 'Standing in the Shadows' + Michael Connelly, 'The Waiting'
Ian Rankin is always a good read but it is interesting to have one of his other series which shows a different style and for me the best read in the selection.
