James has become one of Britain’s most recognisable crime writers, with his Brighton-based Detective Superintendent Roy Grace series earning a devoted following, not least through its successful television adaptation. This carefully chosen trio shows the author at his most gripping. Complex investigations unfold alongside the pressures of Grace’s personal life, while the modern coastal city of Brighton provides an atmospheric backdrop. Taut, intelligent and richly plotted, these novels reveal why Peter James remains one of the most reliable voices in contemporary British crime fiction.
TITLES: Peter James, 'Dead Man's Time' + Peter James, 'Not Dead Yet' + Peter James, 'Looking Good Dead'
Ian Rankin is always a good read but it is interesting to have one of his other series which shows a different style and for me the best read in the selection.
