Dangerously Personal, Danielle Steel, RSR443E

Danielle Steel has sold more novels than almost any writer alive, and the reason is not complicated: she understands that professional life and private longing make better drama together than either does alone. The three women in this set are exceptional at what they do - trauma medicine, crime fiction, investigative television. But ambition, in a Steel novel, is never the whole story. Paris softens the edges of a career built on emergencies. A pen name creates a life within a life. A Washington investigation opens doors that were never meant to be found. Three novels, one unmistakable voice.

Danielle Steel, Turning Point - When four San Francisco trauma doctors travel to Paris for a mass-casualty training programme, an act of real violence forces each of them to reckon with what their demanding careers have cost them.

Danielle Steel, The Right Time - Alexandra Winslow takes her father's advice and writes crime fiction under a male name. As Alexander Green, she becomes a sensation, but sustaining the deception costs more than she expected.

Danielle Steel, Dangerous Games - When television journalist Alix Phillips investigates a corrupt Washington politician, the story leads deeper into the US government than she ever expected, and the people she threatens have more than reputations to protect.
