Jodi Picoult writes about the moments when life forces us to reckon with who we are and what we believe. These three novels explore what happens when crisis - violence, illness, unexpected change - strips away our carefully laid plans and reveals the person underneath. Ruth Jefferson faces a justice system stacked against her. Josie Cormier grapples with the consequences of silence. Diana discovers that the life she built according to plan may never be the one she wants. In Picoult's hands, moral complexity becomes the heart of the story.
Jodi Picoult, Small Great Things - Ruth Jefferson's hesitation becomes a crime when a trial forces a town to confront its beliefs about race and justice.
Jodi Picoult, Nineteen Minutes - When violence shatters a quiet town, a trial reveals what silence costs and what the truth demands of witnesses.
Jodi Picoult, Wish You Were Here — Stranded in the Galapagos, Diana discovers that the life she planned so carefully may not be the life she wants.
Excellent choice. I have only read 3 books so far but have enjoyed them immensely and I am looking forward to the next book. I have bought from bookhound before and will again. Thank you.
Ian Rankin is always a good read but it is interesting to have one of his other series which shows a different style and for me the best read in the selection.
