All three women arrive somewhere unexpected. An Irish guest house shut in by winter. A Louisiana plant nursery with a ghost on the land. A Montana ranch was visited for a fortnight and stayed rather longer. Roberts moves between these settings with assurance, from gothic suspense to wide-open romance, yet what drives all three is the same: a woman finding that the ground shifts under careful arrangements, and that the disruption is rarely unwelcome - irresistible romantic suspense for unputdownable reading.
Nora Roberts, Born in Ice - Brianna's Irish guest house has weathered many winters, but never seen a visitor quite like Grayson.
Nora Roberts, Blue Dahlia - Stella came to Louisiana to rebuild quietly, and found the land already had a resident with plans.
Nora Roberts, Song of the West - Samantha visited Montana for her sister, and a blizzard decided she was staying rather longer.
Excellent choice. I have only read 3 books so far but have enjoyed them immensely and I am looking forward to the next book. I have bought from bookhound before and will again. Thank you.
Ian Rankin is always a good read but it is interesting to have one of his other series which shows a different style and for me the best read in the selection.
