Have just read first 190 pages but enjoying it. Like the characters and story line. Chinese setting and period of story also interesting and different. Can see how his knowledge of Chinese history is key.

Ian Rankin is always a good read but it is interesting to have one of his other series which shows a different style and for me the best read in the selection.
