From sunlit French markets to wind-swept fens and sleepy English villages, these novels remind us that the most tranquil settings often conceal the darkest motives. Bruno Courrèges investigates a killing that unsettles his beloved Dordogne community, while DI Harbinder Kaur and Ruth Galloway confront secrets long buried. With amateur sleuths and seasoned detectives alike, this is crime rooted in place, rich in character - and quietly unsettling

Excellent choice. I have only read 3 books so far but have enjoyed them immensely and I am looking forward to the next book. I have bought from bookhound before and will again. Thank you.
Ian Rankin is always a good read but it is interesting to have one of his other series which shows a different style and for me the best read in the selection.
